From the Principal’s Office
Wow, February came quick! Seems like January was here and gone in the blink of an eye. I hope 2017 is off to a good start for everyone!
Valentine’s Day Parties!
We will be celebrating Valentine’s Day by having class parties on Tuesday, February 14th. There will be sign-up sheets posted for each classroom. Each child will have the opportunity to bring in valentines for his/her friends. Please do not address each valentine card to a specific child, just have your child sign his/her name and we will be sure to get them passed out to everyone.
Since our winter wear and canned food drive over the holidays was such a success, we have decided to have a macaroni and cheese drive for Valentine’s Day for WARM. While visiting WARM with our pre-kindergarten and KIDS’ Campus students, we learned that this item is always highly sought after. Donations will be due Friday, February 17th. We are excited to continue helping our local community and growing our relationship with WARM.
We are so excited to welcome our new music teacher, Ms. Krissandra, to Enchanted Care! Ms. Krissandra has a bachelor’s degree in music education from Miami University and has her teaching license. Her music classes will include lots of movement, instruments, and singing. Welcome, Ms. Krissandra!
Professional Development Day
Enchanted Care will be having the first of 2 Professional Development Days in 2017 on Monday, February 20th; therefore, our school will be closed. The teachers will spend the day collaborating on new classroom initiatives and working together to improve as a team. The second Professional Development Day will take place in the fall.
Please keep in mind that the children do go outside as long as the temperature is 25 degrees or above. Therefore, please make sure that your child has a warm coat, hat, gloves and snow boots.
* Don’t forget to check your child’s cubby for important information from their teachers and the office.
* Please make sure that you are signing your child in every morning and out every evening. Thank you for your consistency with signing the book!
* Parking Lot Safety – Remember to drive slowly and cautiously through our parking lots. There are several small children and their families in the parking lot throughout the day and we want to be sure that everyone is safe! In addition, please do not leave children in the car unattended. It is also important that you do not leave your car running while in our school.
* Tuition Due – Tuition will be due on February 13th and 27th. Please make sure that your account is current with the tuition cycle. There will be a $25 late fee assessed to all payments made after Tuesday at Noon of the tuition week. If you are interested in our automatic withdrawal program, please stop by the office to pick up an authorization form.
