Music Class
We are so excited to welcome our new music teacher, Ms. Gardner, to Enchanted Care! Ms. Gardner has a bachelor’s degree and teaching license in music education from Miami University. Her music classes will include lots of movement, instruments, and singing. Classes will be every other Friday. For more specific dates please see the Website Calendar.
Friendship Celebration
Each class will be having a Friendship Celebration in Honor of Valentine’s Day on Tuesday, February 14th. Details about how you can support the classroom will be posted outside your child’s classroom door.
Professional Development Day
Enchanted Care will be having the first of 2 Professional Development Days in 2017 on Monday, February 20th; therefore, our school will be closed. The teachers will spend the day collaborating on new classroom initiatives and working together to improve as a team. The second Professional Development Day will take place in the fall.
Cold Weather Outside Play
Please keep in mind that the children do go outside as long as the temperature is 25 degrees or above. Therefore, please make sure that your child has a warm coat, hat, gloves and warm shoes (snow boots if necessary.) Providing the children with plenty of fresh air
Community Events
- Saturday February 4th: School of Rock Dublin Open House 10am-2pm. At School of Rock Dublin, they teach preschoolers in our Little Wing Program the creativity, confidence, and knowledge they need to grow into life-long lovers and practitioners of music. Music is the gateway to children’s growth, whether it’s in the form of great friendships from shared musical experiences or the joy of hearing an inspirational song for the first time.
- Saturday, February 18th: Mighty, Mighty Construction Site Storytime. Barnes & Noble Sawmill 11am. All of our favorite trucks are back on the construction site – this time with a focus on team-building, friendship and working together! Will they get the big job done? Come and find out at Storytime featuring Mighty, Mighty Construction Site. Coloring and activities to follow.
- Monday, February 20th: Winter Park Ice Skating $5 near Nationwide Arena
- Every Sunday: FREE Admission to the Columbus Museum of Art
