From the Principal’s Office
Ahhh, the holidays are upon us, as we are all well aware this time of year becomes very busy! Throughout this holiday season we hope that everyone can embrace the importance of the holiday and remember to slow down and spend quality time with family and friends.
Holiday Celebration
Our Holiday Open House will be on Thursday, December 15th from 6:15-7:15. Please join us for a festive evening to celebrate this wonderful season. Santa will be attending for photo opportunities. This evening is an excellent chance to talk with your child’s teachers, visit with other families and see the projects the children have been working on!
Holiday Closure and Attendance
As a reminder, our school will be closed on December 26th and January 2nd. We will be posting attendance sign-up sheets for the weeks of Christmas and New Year’s. Please be sure to fill them out as accurately as you can. If your child will be absent on days other than those reflected on the sign-up sheets, please mark them absent in Links 2 Home. We would like to give our teachers extra time off over the holidays, if possible. Please complete your child’s section of the forms by Tuesday, December 13th.
Holiday Giving
We will be accepting donations for Firefighters 4 Kids through the evening of the Holiday Open House. The Firefighters 4 Kids program accepts new unwrapped toys for children ages 0-14. The greatest toy needs are for the ages 0-3 and 10-12. Monetary donations can also be made by checks. Checks should be made out to: Firefighters 4 Kids. Thank you in advance for your support.

* Please make sure that you are signing your child in every morning and out every evening.
* Please do not leave children in the car unattended. It is also important that you do not leave your car running while in our school.
