Enchanted Care's kindergarten curriculum emphasizes math, reading, writing, science and computer skills, along with the arts and physical education. Our reading and writing curriculum incorporates phonics, whole language instruction and writing practice. Spanish is an integral part of the kindergarten program.
Our students work in small groups in language arts, math and computers, which allows each child to progress at their own rate. We bring the whole class together for science, art, music and cooking.
In science, children practice forming hypotheses, conducting experiments and drawing conclusions. In social studies and geography, we use world and U.S. maps to help learn how people around the world eat, dress, work, study and play. We also discuss local and national current events. Music appreciation introduces different instruments and their sounds, and the kindergartners often perform for the other classes.

Hours of Operation
The full-time educational day is from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with center operating hours from 7:00 am – 6:00 pm. The half-day/part-time educational day will depend on school district scheduling. Before and after school childcare is included in kindergarten tuition.
